About three-fourths of the Earth's surface is covered with water. Yet we have a shortage of water. Why?
 Ans.  About three – fourths of the earth’ s surface is covered with water. Most of  this water is found in the oceans and seas and it is salty. So we cannot use it. Hence we have shortage of water.
